Crotalaria L. is the largest genus of tribe Crotalarieae, Leguminosae-Papilionoideae, comprising approximately 700 species. The genus is distributed in tropical and subtropical regions and the centre of species diversity is in Africa and Madagascar. Here we present the species of Crotalaria in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam based on a review of the available taxonomic literature and a study of specimens that were consulted in various herbaria in the period 2014–2015. Forty-seven species are enumerated, seven of which are mentioned in the taxonomic literature but for which no herbarium specimens have been seen (C. annamensis P. Dy Phon, C. burhia Buch.-Ham. ex Benth., C. occulta Graham ex Benth., C. ramosissima Roxb., C. stocksii Benth. ex Baker f., C. valetonii Backer, C. venusta Wall.). Five common species are found in the area viz. C. acicularis Buch.-Ham. ex Benth., C. albida B. Heyne ex Roth, C. assamica Benth., C. montana B. Heyne ex Roth and C. sessilifolia L. Finally, C. cambodiensis P. Dy Phon is an endemic species in Cambodia.
